Biography

Walter White: Harmonica
Walter has been playing harmonica for over 30 years now, with 20 years on the Austin Texas music scene.  Much of the trio's sound is fueled by Walter's love for jazz greats such as Duke Ellington, Thelonius Monk, Charles Mingus, Dave Brubeck and more.  At times, Walter fills in on the vocals, percussion & guitar.

Terry Shimazu: Piano
Born in Kyoto Japan where he received his degree in English literature, Terry came to the United States in 1989 where he studied at Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired.  Terry received his Bachelors in Music at Berklee College of Music in Boston, and has played with artists such as Manhattan Transfer, Walter Beasley, Kevin Mahogany, Larry Watson, and Take Six.

Rob Jewett: Upright Bass
Rob began in music by playing guitar in his church at the age of fourteen in his hometown of Grand Rapids Michigan.  By the age of 17 he had picked up the electric bass, and soon after was gigging in bars playing blues and jazz.  Around that time in Rob's life, he left the northern winters behind for the warmth of Austin Texas where he purchased an upright bass, and has been playing music professionally ever since.  Rob has performed in the US and Europe with Asylum Street Spankers, Wayne "the Train" Hancock, Long John Hunter, Dale Watson, and The Texas Swing Demons.  In addition to playing music full time, Rob still finds the time to give musical instruction in guitar and bass.
